The wealth of knowledge gained in the music and entertainment business the past eight years has allowed Gregory Beef Jones to rise from humble entry-level positions with record label street teams and club promotions to helming the A&R division for hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons? latest music venture, Russell Simmons Music Group. Although a successful nightclub promoter in his own right at the time, Gregory was lured to the business of music thru marketing and in 1998 Gregory started Riot Artist Management & Promotions, and helped brands like Hennessey Cognacs, Avirex, Tommy Hilfiger, Dream Works Records, Reebok, Pony, Rock Star Games, Adidas, Interscope Records, TVT Records, Artisan

Entertainment (now Lion?s Gate Films) gain identities within America?s urban communities. In 2000, as one of the youngest producers at the fledgling with internet content provider Urban Box Office, Gregory applied his music marketing spin to developing internet properties which lead to a growing relationship major recording labels. During burst of the tech bubble, Gregory joined with Game Recordings and brokered a production deal with Columbia Records that helmed the debut LP of Eminem protégé, Royce da 5?9? while simultaneously building a growing roster of music producers under his management company. In 2002, Riot Artist Management guided the career of rap/rock artist Bazaar Royale in a recording and publishing deal with Def Jam Records and scored over 15 platinum and multi-platinum records from producer Red Spyda over the next few years. In 2005, Gregory joined with manager and colleague Abby O?? Neill and former William Morris agent and TV producer, Adam Brawer to form Shameless Enterprises in Los Angeles, to produce and develop films and television programming. Gregory also assumed the title of A&R Director this past summer, working under the direct tutelage of Russell Simmons.
